Ducks Add Depth, Release Schedule ColumbusDucks.com Staff Writer The Columbus Ducks announce today the signing of free agent forward Jason Goodman. By adding Goodman, the Ducks add depth to the forward lines. Captain and General Manager John McConnell is expecting Goodman to add passing skills and puck handling help in the offensive zone for the Ducks. "We needed someone to help set up our scorers, and I think Goodie will add that kind of skill for us." McConnell said. "I'm excited to be a Duck. It is a lot to live up to, a lot of pressure, I am excited to take it on." Goodman said. The Ducks also release their Fall 2008 Schedule today and with that announce the assignment to a new league in the CAHL. The Ducks will be playing in the Thursday D West League. They will be facing off against old rivals like Battelle and Rusty Pucks more often playing each team in their division three times.
